Factors That Predict Misperceptions of Outpartisan Stance on Political Issues Vary By Party

Abstract
We identified predictors of misperceptions of outpartisan stance on political issues from a total of three studies (N=603; 126; 63). Across all three datasets, several predictors were found to interact with political party, implying that significant differences may exist between types of partisans in the formation and/or maintenance of misperceptions.
