Abstract
Ecological momentary assessment data from caregivers (N=98) in the postpartum period support the hypothesis that the effectiveness of emotion regulation strategies depends on contextual factors like perceived control. Our findings hold potential implications for interventions targeting emotion regulation during this unique developmental phase, marked by heightened risk of psychopathology.
