Abstract
We tested the relationship between napping and mood. Participants (N = 92) reported daily napping and mood for seven days. Accounting for the effects of gender and race, napping predicted depression (B = 0.17, p =.02, R2 = .43), but not anxiety or stress. Implications are discussed.
