Parenting Styles Are Associated with Parent Accommodation of Anxiety and Irritability in Preschool-Aged Children

50 Word Abstract: The present study examined associations between permissive and overprotective parenting and parent accommodation of child anxiety and irritability. The findings indicated that overprotective parenting was strongly associated with parent accommodation of child anxiety while permissive parenting was strongly associated with parent accommodation of child irritability.
