Abstract

We extracted three latent factors of early adversity related to Parenting, Neighborhood Deprivation, and Household Threat/Unpredictability in a longitudinal sample of 186 adolescents (Mage=11.33). Of these, Parenting and Household Threat/Unpredictability predicted adolescent psychopathology, with the latter association mediated by hippocampus-dlPFC functional connectivity.
