Gender Influence on the Association between Severity of Childhood Trauma and Variations in Subtypes of Intimate Partner Violence

The study will evaluate the association between childhood trauma exposure and intimate partner violence (IPV) perpetration and how this may differ by gender among subtypes of IPV perpetration (psychological, physical, and sexual). Gaining insight into gender difference in IPV perpetration subtypes has value for context-informed interventions.
