Abstract

We conducted a systematic review (N=14) and meta-analysis (N=7) on the effect of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy on psychological symptoms, behaviors and mindfulness skills in incarcerated people. No significant difference was found between ACT and CBT (p=0.464) for experiential avoidance.
