Abstract
Moving away from home into college residence is a potent natural stressor. In this intensive longitudinal study, the temporal dynamics of depression and anxiety symptoms across this transition were differentially associated with menstrual cycle phase in naturally-cycling individuals. Implications for repeated measures designs and student mental health are explored.
