Procedural Fairness Perceptions of Full-Time Contingent Faculty: Implications of Professionalization Efforts

Abstract
An exploratory study was conducted comparing job attitudes held by faculty in different roles. Teaching professors (n = 25) reported significantly lower perceptions of procedural justice than lecturers (n = 50) (d = .72, p = .006) and tenured/tenure-track faculty (n = 287) (d = .64, p = .002).
