Abstract
We used mixed effects modeling and PCA to investigate the relationship between cognition and attention during selectively attended speech. We found a significant interaction between cognition and attention (targets vs distractors variable) when predicting for double-peak P1 ERP amplitudes (p<0.01). This suggests a relationship between cognition and attended speech processing.
