Abstract
This within-subjects study examines the psychophysiological differences between active and passive cycling, specifically its effects on salivary cortisol and testosterone. Thirty healthy adults (aged 18-25) will participate in randomized and counterbalanced bouts of active and passive cycling. Passive cycling could offer therapeutic benefits for those unable to complete active cycling.
