The Examination of Gender-Science Stereotypes in Primary School Students in China Using Draw-a-Scientist Test

Abstract
We examined Gender-Science-Stereotypes with elementary school students in the lower, middle, and upper age groups of in China(45 students age from 7-12) using Draw-A-Scientist-test. Results: students' drawings associated scientist mostly with men (60%), less with women (33.3%). Boys (92%) associated scientist with men are greater than girls (20%).
