Abstract
We examine whether social interactions in different modalities (in-person/digital) buffer the effects of poor health on well-being in older adults using experience-sampling data of 118 participants (Mage = 72). Our findings from multilevel models suggest poor health as a risk factor for well-being and partially support the buffering hypothesis.
