Abstract

Using a sample of 455 adults (382 females, Mage = 41.98) assessed over twenty days, this study revealed that higher sleep efficiency and easier sleep onset were linked to improved affect the next day. Exercise and socializing exhibited distinct moderating patterns on the association between last-night sleep and next-day affect.
