Abstract

When analyzing daily-diary experiences of burned-out mothers via temporal network analyses, parental burnout symptoms all predicted themselves from one day to the next, while only one environmental factor impacted the parent’s experience: interactions with children. Decreased sensitivity to context thus likely characterizes severe parental burnout, excepting interactions with children.
