Abstract

We explored the psychological and cognitive predictors of engagement and efficacy of naturalistic mindfulness practice in the classroom. Engagement was significantly associated with trait mindfulness, personality, conflict style, intrinsic motivation, and attention control. Personality traits and intrinsic motivation were associated with how useful participants felt the practice was.
