The Association between Paternal and Maternal Gender-Role Parenting Attitude and Adolescent Mental Health

This study revised the Gender-Role Parenting Attitudes Scale and identified 4 internal dimensions, subjects and interests, character and discipline, career and ability, and family and moral. Testing in 601 Chinese adolescents (244 Males, M_age =15.77), both fathers’ and mothers’ gender-role attitude have positive and negative association with adolescents’ mental health.
