Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate if machine learning could differentiate between diagnoses of anorexia nervosa and atypical anorexia nervosa with and without body mass index as a feature. Machine learning models performed poorly trained solely on self-reported demographics and severity measures but had good model performance when BMI was included.
