Abstract
This study explored the attentional bias of individuals with heightened tendencies toward obsessive cleaning under conditions involving thought–action fusion. Individuals with the aforementioned tendencies (n = 40) exhibited a significant attentional bias toward positive emotional stimuli after the induction of thought–action fusion. Additionally, their negative emotional states significantly intensified.
