Abstract

This study integrated theoretical perspectives on emotion regulation and cognitive processes that contribute to continuous emotional disturbance. According to the results of the study, the tendency to ruminate had a significant positive correlation with depressive symptoms, suggesting that individuals with depression (n = 103) who ruminate may experience depressive symptoms.
