Abstract
We found that children’s neural responses to errors (error monitoring) moderated the effects of maternal childhood trauma on children’s behavior problems and inhibitory control (N=448; Mage=7.11). Our results suggest that error monitoring may be protective of the effects of maternal childhood trauma on children’s cognition and behavior.
