Abstract
Our research focuses on 7-year-olds’ prosocial behavior with siblings and friends during free-play and construction tasks. Gender, partner, and task all played a role in overall rate of prosocial behavior, as well as specific characteristics of that behavior, highlighting the importance of considering social context in analyzing children’s prosocial behavior.
