“You’Re Lucky If You Sleep!”: Narratives of Sleep’s Vicious Cycle with Academics, Mental Health, and Interpersonal Relationships Among Emerging Adults from Minority Groups in the United States

This qualitative interview study provides empirical support for emerging adults’ (N = 14) perceived bidirectionality between sleep and psychosocial adjustment in university within the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. Results amplify the unique challenges to optimal sleep and positive psychosocial functioning for emerging adults from minority groups in the U.S.
