Abstract
This study examines the combined effects of warmth and deep pressure on the subjective human experience of social connection. We found an interaction such that warm deep pressure increased feelings of social connection compared to warm light pressure and non-warm deep pressure. Results directly implicate deep pressure in social-touch.
