Abstract
We examined community violence exposure (CVE), coping self-efficacy, and their interaction as predictors of internalizing symptoms. There were significicant main effects but the interacion was not significant. These findings suggested the harmful effects of CVE and highlight the need for research examining factors that may buffer this association.
