The Moderating Effects of Age on the Relationship between Cannabis and Tobacco Smoking and Pain

The moderating effects of age on the relationship between smoking (cannabis and tobacco) and pain was examined in a large, representative survey. Tobacco smoking was related to greater pain. Cannabis smoking was not related to pain; a cannabis by age interaction demonstrated the highest pain-cannabis association among older adults.
