Abstract
Childhood irritability is associated with long-term maladjustment. Simultaneously, parental sensitivity and child neurocognition promote positive social-emotional development, and may serve as intervention targets. The proposed study investigates the relationship between irritability and internalizing and externalizing problems across childhood and adolescence, and the protective roles of parental sensitivity and child neurocognition.
