Adapting the Job Engagement Scale to Leisure and Relationship Domains for Psychological Engagement during Goal Pursuit

The Job Engagement Scale was adapted to leisure and relationship domains, with the link between need satisfaction and psychological engagement investigated. Analyses showed that bi-factor models presented a reasonable fit, but there was no invariance. We also find that in all three domains engagement was related to psychological need satisfaction.
