Behavioral Correlates of Polysubstance Use before and during the First Year of College

Abstract
Symptoms of anxiety, depression, stress, impulsivity, and lifetime traumatic experiences associated with drug use patterns (poly-use, mono-use, vs no-use) in 303 participants (70% F; M=18.6 years, SD=0.39) was examined. Severity of anxiety was positively associated with being a polysubstance user vs a mono-substance user [β =0.53, SE=0.18].
