Twitter and January 6th: Tweet Content and Time of Exposure Impacted Memories of the January 6th Insurrection.

We examined how viewing Tweets would impact details recalled about a major public event–the January 6th Insurrection. 70 participants (70% female) completed our three-day study. Results indicate that Tweet content and day of exposure influenced the number of details recalled between our pre- and post-recall items.
