The Development of Conceptual Compositionality in Children

Abstract
Compositionality states that the meaning of a whole can be understood by the meaning of its parts. We investigate the development of conceptual compositionality (the ability to combine and compose concepts) by testing 6-9-year-olds ability to compose two different functions in order to predict the outcome of events.
