Abstract
We measured negative emotionality, alcohol use, and childhood trauma in individuals with AUD with and without PTSD. There were 1,292 participants (537 female). Negative emotionality, alcohol use, and childhood trauma severity were higher in comorbid AUD and PTSD. Childhood trauma moderated the relationship between a comorbid diagnosis and alcohol-related outcomes.
