Intellectual Humility Predicts Prosocial Conflict Behavior in Romantic Relationships: A Dyadic Approach

We tested dyadic associations between intellectual humility (IH) and relationship processes in a sample of 75 couples (150 individuals, 75 males, MAge = 21). IH and perceived partner IH are associated with higher compromise, collaboration, and accommodation during conflict. Partner IH ratings also predict greater relationship satisfaction and less-frequent conflict.
