Abstract
This study examines the impact of perceived parental alcoholism, independent of formal Alcohol Use Disorder diagnoses, on several psychosocial outcomes for 913 justice-impacted youth. Findings indicate poorer outcomes in youth perceiving parental alcoholism, regardless of whether their perceptions are accurate. Extending support to all who perceive parental alcoholism is warranted.
