Longitudinal Study of Health Sector Students: Burnout Precedes Action Crises for Career Goals

A cross-lagged panel design (N =199, 149 women, M_age = 23.89) showed that self-criticism and mindfulness (T1) predict action crises, the conflict between holding on vs. letting go of career goals (in this study), and burnout (T2), but only burnout significantly predicted action crises at T3. Implications will be discussed.
