Abstract
Previous research indicates that Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) can lead to multiple negative health consequences, but the underlying biological mechanisms are unknown. We examined associations between ACEs and stress-related biology, in addition to assessing links between ACEs and depressive symptoms in adolescents.
