We analyzed data from the Pathways to Desistance study. Participants included a sample of 132 justice-involved 14-18 year olds. We used linear regressions to analyze the relationship of youths’ experiences of connectedness to facility staff with depression and anxiety at the first follow up after release from detention (6-12 months).
