Abstract
We conducted a meta-analysis of 53 studies (n=910,503) on the associations between daily routine disruptions and psychiatric symptoms amid COVID-19. Consistent across sociodemograhics, the routine-symptom associations were stronger with greater pandemic severity and lower governmental economic support, highlighting the priority of behavioral intervention for population mental health in future disasters.
