Abstract

To determine whether the BSI-18 depression scale and the PHQ-9 measure different aspects of depression, the change scores were compared for 345 Veterans who received TMS for MDD. The two assessments demonstrated a significant difference between change scores (p<.001) with BSI-18 scores reducing more, supporting the hypothesis.
