Abstract
We investigate how race and gender influence Chinese observers' (n=49, 36 females) attention to pain expressions. Using a dot-probe task, we found heightened attention toward White female pain faces and diminished attention towards Black male pain faces, highlighting the racial and gender biases in the attentional process of pain perception.
