Development and Validation of a Comprehensive Measure of Externalizing Behavior

We developed a measure to assess frequency and severity of externalizing behaviors. Participants included 987 adults aged 18–92 (217 males). The measure was strongly correlated with existing measures of externalizing behavior. Our measure predicted functional impairment and executive function above and beyond existing measures, supporting its utility.
