The Effect of Nurturant Love on Perceptions of an Ambiguous Situation

This study examined effects of nurturant love and contentment on people’s perceptions of an environment. Results from an initial sample indicate that feeling nurturant love leads to perceiving situations more negatively than feeling contentment or a neutral control. We are currently replicating this research with a bigger, more diverse sample.
