Abstract

The present study examined gender differences in mindset (fixed and failure) and anxiety (learning and performance) in STEM undergraduate courses. Females endorsed higher overall anxiety than males and all students reported higher performance than learning anxiety. Across gender, higher levels of fixed/failure mindset were related to higher learning/performance anxiety.
