Abstract

We analyzed the role of perceptions of neighborhood disorder and its relationship to moderate physical activity. 120 healthy African American emerging adults completed measures of community disorder and cohesion. Higher neighborhood disorder was associated with more walking but not with moderate physical activity. No significant relations emerged for cohesion.
