Executive Function and Escape Rooms: Generalizability of the Trails-X and Wisconsin Card Sorting Tests

The current study compared two tests of executive function in an applied problem-solving situation (escape room). Trails-X scores were significantly negatively correlated with the time (in seconds) to complete tasks.  A regression model indicated a significant slope of -5.  Scores on the Wisconsin Card Sort were not correlated with performance.
