The Relationship between Prevalence of Anxiety Disorders and Drug Use across Countries

Our study analyzed the relationship between anxiety disorders and substance use across 209 countries. Results are consistent with prior research indicating a relationship between anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, and alcohol use. Our findings are notable as prior research had not explored the relationship between these disorders internationally.
