Adolescent and Adult Sexual Victimization Predicts Sexual Response Disruptions in Women and Men

Adults frequently experience sexual response disruptions. Researchers have yet to examine the relationship between sexual victimization during adolescence and adulthood and sexual response disruptions. We surveyed 512 participants from across the U.S. and found attempted rape was the strongest predictor of sexual response disruptions for both men and women.
