Challenges to Executive Function: Attentional Capture and High-Level Conditional Discriminations

In two experiments, we will investigate challenges to executive function. Experiment 1 will assess the depth of processing of distractors in an “attentional capture” paradigm. Experiment 2 will test the limits of the ability to respond in a context-sensitive manner in a task involving many conditional discriminations and working memory.
