Abstract
We compared static and dynamic indicators of mother-preschooler interactions in the prediction of maternal borderline personality disorder. N=76 mother-preschooler dyads with either maternal BPD or no maternal illness were compared on static and dynamic indicators of their interaction. Dynamic indicators provided more value for understanding child behavior.
