Abstract
Chronic pain and PTSD frequently co-occur within the Veteran population. Expressive suppression may impact perception of overall pain and functioning in individuals with PTSD and chronic pain. Results indicate expressive suppression moderates the association between PTSD symptoms and both pain level and pain interference in a Veteran cohort.
